Terms

Terms of service draft.

These draft terms summarize the intended service, plan, billing, acceptable-use, and deletion provisions. They are not ready for production acceptance.

1. Service Description

ChangeWitness provides deterministic, source-backed notifications for supported Intune, Entra, and Teams external-access events. Coverage, latency classes, and known limitations are published in the coverage catalog.

2. Plans and Billing

Each connected tenant has a Trial, Starter, or Pro plan assignment. Starter is USD 4.99 and Pro is USD 19.99 per connected tenant per month, plus applicable taxes. One correlated change is billed once regardless of permitted destination fan-out. Delivery retries, tests, product-health messages, billing warnings, and suppressed events are not billable.

3. Acceptable Use

Customers must have authority to connect each Microsoft 365 tenant, configure only destinations they control, protect account credentials, and avoid using the service to violate law, provider terms, third-party rights, or technical safeguards.

4. Service Commitments

Starter is self-service and has no onboarding or response-time support commitment. Published product-controlled reliability targets exclude upstream Microsoft availability and source latency. The final terms will define any contractual service commitments separately.

5. Liability

[LIABILITY LIMITS, EXCLUSIONS, INDEMNITY, GOVERNING LAW, AND VENUE PENDING LEGAL REVIEW]

6. Termination and Deletion

Disconnecting a workload stops collection and removes active Microsoft monitoring subscriptions. Tenant deletion starts a 7-day recoverable period. Product event data, destinations, secrets, routing, and connector metadata are purged within 30 days of confirmed deletion. Legally retained billing records remain restricted and separate.
